Town Criers are Stuart Smith and Todd Singer.

Stuart plays guitar and Todd plays the piano, which they’ve been doing since the 8th grade. Although they talked about it then, it actually took until now for them to do it together. This turns out to be a good thing, because in the meantime, they picked up a few more instruments, played in a bunch of bands, acquired some recording equipment, and learned some software. Actually, lots of software. Stuart listened to a lot of music. Todd listened to a lot of pop music. They even wrote some songs along the way.

What this all means is that by the time they got together on a series of Sunday mornings in a rehearsal space in Houston, Texas, they were ready to get to work. The result is their self-titled EP.
